I'm a wife and mom, and my daughter is a Polyvore addict as well. I first fell in love with fashion as a child, watching my mom getting ready for evenings out.....I lay on her bed, dreamily rearranging her jewelry collection as she put together the most beautiful things to wear -- from hot pants to maxi skirts and velvet. My longest claim to fame was as a Nail Tech, so I have to fight the temptation to show nail polish in every set! I am a survivor as well, having made it through 5 major surgeries in the last 7 years. After one hideous back surgery, i awoke to ask the doctor if i would ever wear heels again! He said yes, but i had to learn to walk again, first. Well, i'm wearing heels, and spending time with my family and my mom....who now has dementia, but also still has high style! I LOVE looking at all of the beautiful and unique things here on Polyvore that you all contribute.....thanks for letting me in your circle.
